You could spend a month vacationing in the North Carolina Smoky Mountains. Dillsboro is just a short drive from it all!

There are mountains for waterfalls and hiking. There are rivers for kayaking and whitewater rafting. And there are rushing mountain streams for world-class trout fishing.

North Carolina's top three attractions — Harrah's Cherokee Casino, Asheville's Biltmore Estate and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park — are all within minutes of Dillsboro; as is Western Carolina University.

And everywhere you look, there's the indescribable beauty of the southern Appalachian mountains. It's the ultimate change-of-pace.
